Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They let a site remember you between pages and visits. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, do the same job. In this policy, "cookies" includes both.

2. How ZenithAMS uses them

We use only the cookies needed to run the platform, plus a small number of optional ones for live chat and website statistics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell information collected through cookies.

Cookie / technologyWhat it is forTypeHow long
Session and security cookiesKeep you signed in to the association admin panel and protect its forms against forgery (CSRF).EssentialUntil you sign out or the session expires (about 2 hours of inactivity)
association_slugRemembers the last association you used, so sign-in and password links take you to the right place.Essential30 days
Sign-in state (browser storage)The member portal keeps your sign-in and preferences in your browser's local storage — a technology similar to cookies — so you stay signed in between visits.EssentialUntil you sign out or clear your browser data
Live chat (Tawk.to)When live chat is switched on, it sets its own cookies to keep a conversation going and recognise returning visitors.FunctionalSet by Tawk.to — see their cookie notice
Website analytics (Vercel Web Analytics)Counts page views to help us improve the website. It does not use cookies and does not follow you across other websites.AnalyticsNo cookie is stored

3. Essential, functional and analytics

Essential cookies are required for sign-in and security; the service cannot work without them, so they do not need your consent. Functional cookies (live chat) make optional features work. Analytics helps us understand how the website is used, without identifying you.

4. Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies or clear local storage, you will be signed out and some parts of the platform may not work. Live chat cookies can be blocked without affecting the rest of the platform; your browser's help pages explain how.

5. Cookies set by associations

Each association runs its own member portal on ZenithAMS. Associations that use a custom domain or add their own tools are responsible for any additional cookies those tools set. Their own policies, published in their portal, explain how they handle member information.

6. Changes to this policy

We will update this page if we add or change the cookies we use, and change the date at the top. See also our Privacy Policy.
