Account Credit & Plan Changes
What account credit is, how it is applied to your next payment, and what happens when our team moves you to another plan.
Account credit
Account credit is money Zenith AMS holds for your association. It can be added by our team (for example as compensation), or arise when a plan change leaves you with value you had already paid for. It is never paid out in cash: it is spent on your subscription.
- Your balance is shown on the Subscription page whenever you have some.
- It is applied automatically to your next subscription payment, after any discount and any credit for unused time. Each plan card shows an "Account credit" line.
- If it covers the whole price, your plan activates with nothing to pay. Any leftover stays on your account.
- Credit set aside for a payment you start is returned if the payment fails or you cancel it.
- Your invoice always shows how much credit was used.
When our team changes your plan
Occasionally our team moves an association to a different plan, for example when you ask to upgrade or downsize by phone or email. You are always told: you get a notification saying what changed and what it means for your money. There are three ways it can be handled.
| Option | What happens |
|---|---|
| Swap, keep your term | Your plan changes and your end date stays. Nothing is charged or refunded, and the value you already paid is kept. |
| Settle the difference | Your end date stays. You pay (or are credited) the difference between the new plan's price for the time left and what you had prepaid for that time. |
| Start a fresh term | A new full term starts today. What you had paid and not used counts toward its price; you pay the rest, or the extra becomes account credit. |
If you owe a difference
Our team may raise an invoice, mark the amount as already received, or waive it. If an invoice is raised, pay it by bank transfer using the account details on your Subscription page and quote the invoice number. Your current plan keeps working until we confirm your payment, and then the new plan starts.
If you are owed a difference
When you move to a cheaper plan and have already paid more than it costs for the time left, the extra is added to your account credit and used on your next payment. It is not refunded in cash.
