Elections Overview
How elections work in Zenith AMS — the phases, the process, and key concepts.
Zenith AMS provides a secure, transparent election system designed for association governance. Elections run entirely within the platform — no paper ballots, no third-party forms, no manual counting.
How elections work
Admin creates the election
An administrator sets up the election — defining positions, nomination dates, and voting dates.
Nomination period
Members can nominate themselves or eligible members for each position during the nomination window.
Candidate review
Admins review and approve or reject candidates before voting begins.
Voting period
Eligible members cast their votes securely within the voting window. Votes are verified via OTP.
Results
When voting closes, results are calculated automatically. Admins can review privately, then publish to all members.
Security and integrity
- Each eligible member can only vote once per election
- Votes are anonymous — admins cannot see who voted for whom
- OTP verification prevents unauthorized voting
- A complete audit log records all vote transactions
- Results can only be published by authorized administrators
